Empowering Children in Cameroon with Solar Study Kits

Due to conflict, many schools across Cameroon are closed, with only 54 per cent of student having access to formal education. In rural communities, like this one in southwest Cameroon, UNICEF has been supporting children with a Radio Education Program.

Children are benefitting from pre-recorded lessons that are disseminated through solar radios.  Children, who do not have a school nearby to attend, gather in her community to play, sing and listen to the educational programs on the radio.
